Jokie was introduced as an authentic explorer at the beginning of 2012. Together with his girlfriend Jet, he has travelled the world outside Efteling in a television series, the Carnaval Festival attraction, books and other merchandise items, and online.
With his trademark red nose, Jokie is very recognisable to young children. He and his feathery girlfriend Jet experience new, fun adventures in new places all the time. They discover big and small things together and meet all sorts of people and animals. Jokie and Jet teach children that it is fun to travel and discover new things. In all of his guises, Jokie is especially intended to appeal to children between the ages of zero and three.
